The HP Mini Netbook lives up to its name due to it’s compact size and light weight. If you’re looking for a netbook that can easily slip into your backpack or purse then this one fits the bill. There are several versions of the HP mini, but most come with a webcam, although it works best in really good lighting situations.
The HP Mini Netbook makes a great first computer for students who wish to have a laptop, but don’t want the hassle or expense of a bigger model. It’s fine for basic web surfing, working on word docs and email. Light gaming is ok, but this isn’t the machine for heavy gamers.
Battery life is an issue with several models. You can run it for about 2 hours then it needs another charge. This is long enough to watch only one streamed movie online.
